INFANT ROOM
Ms. Karli Lead
Birthday: 2/17
Ms Karli is our Lead Infant teacher, she has 8 years of expierence as a lead Infant/Toddler Teacher. Ms Karli has taken several Ohio Approved trainings on Child Development. She is a proud mom of two children and loves working with children wwatching them grow into little people! Her favorites include dogs, mac and cheese, pink, light blue, and Disney movies. She loves to craft!
Ms. Domonique Assistant
Birthday: 2/5
Ms Domonique is our Infant Assistant teacher. She has several years expierence working in childcare centers with infants. Her favorites include chocolate, The Nightmare Before Christmas, the colors black, purple and army green. She plans to work towards earning her CDA.
Ms. Veronica Aide
Birthday: 8/31
Ms Veronica is our Infant Aide. She loves to read, watch movies and is bilingual. In San Diego she was a volunteer Fire Fighter and hopes to earn her degree in Fire Science.
TODDLER ROOM
Ms. Taylor Lead
Birthday: 10/13
Ms Taylor is our Toddler Lead. She joined our team in 2017. Ms Taylor is a current student at Tri-C in the early childhood education program. She is a colorguard instructor at Avon High School and St Eds! She plans to graduate with her assciates degree and become a preschool teacher.
Ms. Cynthia Assistant
Birthday: 11/26
Ms. Cynthia is our Toddler Assistant teacher. She has been with us since 2014. She holds her certificate in Early Childhood from Polaris Career Center and looks forward to someday expanding her education. Her favorites are crafts, doing hair, red, chicken alfredo, and pandas.
Ms Hayley Aide
Birthday: 2/26
Ms Hayley is PM Toddler Aide. She loves painting, drawing and crafting. Her favoirte colors are red and blue and she loves to eat pasta. Ms Hayley hopes to earn her degree in Criminal Justice.
PRESCHOOL #1
Ms. Heather LEAD
Birthday: August 20th
Ms. Heather is our Prek #1 Lead Teacher; she has been with Smart Start since May of 2003. She graduated in 2006 from Baldwin Wallace with bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, she has more recently graduated with her Masters in Education from Brown University. Ms. Heather started in this field because she enjoyed being around children her whole life. You might find her at Luchita’s her favorite restaurant or at her favorite place her parent’s pool. Her favorites include, green, Charlotte’s Web, pizza, black tea, and lemonade.
Ms Jenna Assistant
Birthday: 7/14
Ms Jenna Is our Preschool #1 Aide. She loves crafts, reading and volleyball. Her favorite colors are green, and pink. Ms Jenna has her cosmetology license and plans to continue expanding her education.
Ms Morgan Aide
Birthday: 6/12
Ms Morgan is our Preschool PM Aide. She loves swimming, nature walks and is excited to be joining our team. Her favorites include blue, burgers, pizza, and wolves. Ms Morgan has started taking Ohio Approved child development courses and looks forward to learning more about educating young children.

Ms Kimberly Lead
Birthday: 5/3
Ms Kimberly is our Lead PK 2 teacher. She holds her CDA in Preschool and hopes to further her eduation with an associates degree. Her favorites include: green, black , gold pineapple and parrots.
Ms Kayla PM Aide
Birthday: 5/22
Ms Kayla is our PK 2 PM Aide. She loves softball, pink, purple , tacos, pizza and puppies. Ms Kayla plans to one day go back to school and continue her education.
SCHOOL AGE
Mr Nick Lead
Birthday:1/6
Mr Nick is our lead School Age teacher. He is on the road to becoming a Middle School teacher and hopes to eventually be a princpal. Mr Nick loves red, pizza, dragons and The Sandlot.
SUB and Float
Ms. Monica
Birthday: June 8th
Ms. Monica is our Substitute teacher. She has been with Smart Start since 2005, she started with us because of her love of children. You might find her at Si Senor her favorite restaurant. Ms. Monica loves spending time at home with her daughter Lexi. She loves Dr Seuss books, yellow, iced tea, and Mexican food.
